What is Authelia?
Authelia is an open-source authentication and authorization server that provides single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and access control for applications behind reverse proxies. It supports methods such as TOTP, WebAuthn, and push-based MFA, and can act as an OpenID Connect provider. It is commonly deployed as a lightweight forward-auth gateway for self-hosted homelab and internal services.
