What is Neon WS Proxy?
This bundle combines PostgreSQL with Neon's wsproxy, a WebSocket proxy that lets the @neondatabase/serverless driver connect to Postgres from serverless and edge environments. Standard Postgres TCP connections are bridged over WebSockets so JavaScript runtimes without direct TCP support can use Pool and Client APIs. It is intended for self-hosted Postgres accessed through Neon's serverless driver.
