What is DIUN?
DIUN, or Docker Image Update Notifier, is an open-source tool that watches container images and alerts you when a tracked tag or digest changes on a registry. It supports Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, and file-based providers, with notifications through services like Slack, Telegram, Gotify, and email. Self-hosters use it to stay informed about base image updates, security rebuilds, and upstream application releases.
