What is Nextcloud Spreed (Talk HPB)?

Nextcloud Spreed (Talk HPB) is the high-performance backend for Nextcloud Talk, combining signaling, Janus MCU, NATS, and TURN/STUN services in one deployment. It improves call quality and scalability for Nextcloud Talk beyond standalone mode. Organizations deploy it when they need reliable video calls and conferencing for larger Nextcloud teams.

How to deploy on Kubeara

  1. Sign in to your Kubeara dashboard and connect a server if you have not already.

  2. Open the Services catalog and select Nextcloud Spreed (Talk HPB).

  3. Review the pre-configured settings and click Deploy.
